Kabelsketal, September 11, 2015 | On Friday, September 11, EnkaTecnica officially inaugurated a new production plant in Kabelsketal in the presence of Dr. Bernd Wiegand, Lord Mayor of Halle. With the move from Gröbzig to the new, larger location spinneret manufacturer Enka Tecnica GmbH who has been serving the global market for more than hundred years, demonstrates its potential for further growth in the future.
A total of seven million Euro was spent in moving the production from Gröbzig to
Kabelsketal. The investment allowed Enka Tecnica to focus on high technology in
the new plant in order to expand business. The plant is state of the art also
in terms of work safety and energy efficiency. Modern LED lighting in the
production hall, compressor heat recovery and up-to-date fire alarm systems are
just a few examples.
Covering an area of 15.450 sqm, the new location houses a production hall of 4,300 sqm and
an office building of 1,000 sqm. About 100 employees and 13 own apprentices
trained to qualify as mechatronics engineers, cutting machine operators and
industrial mechanics are working here since the end of June.
Uwe Gaedike, CEO of Enka Tecnica, is happy about the new location: “The move was an
important step for us. In Kabelsketal we have created ideal conditions to
continue the success of the past years and develop ourselves further. We will
be able to even improve our quality and high production efficiency in our new
plant. At the same time we have created an ultra-modern and motivating working
environment for our employees and young professionals.”
Enka Tecnica was acquired by the German Reifenhäuser Group early in 2015 who has
