Careers at Reifenhäuser
Markus Wüscht
An apprenticeship in mechatronics has been my aim ever since my school days. As one of the first companies in the region, Reifenhäuser decided already very early to offer this vocational education which was new at that time. The well-founded professional training both in the company’s own apprenticeship workshop and in different departments met my technical interest and my fascination for machines.
The foundation for my further career was laid here. Due to my strong identification with the company and my interest in social engagement, I was entrusted with the youth and apprentice representation during my vocationaI education.
My vocational education was followed by the attendance of a technical college and the civilian national service before I decided to study mechanical engineering with a specialisation in mechatronics at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. With a main focus on process engineering and a thesis on the topic of product development, I was optimally prepared for the job I am presently doing as a process technology development engineer.
My decision to apply again with Reifenhäuser was based on the fact that the main fields of my studies matched with the requirement profile. Further reasons were the practice-oriented work in the Technology Centre of the Reifenhäuser subsidiary Reicofil and the positive experiences I gained there during my vocational education. In particular, I am excited about the challenge to contribute to the further technological development of a global market leader. Commissioning of lines and service activities around the world allow to gain experience and make my job at Reifenhäuser Reicofil interesting and varied.
