Careers at Reifenhäuser

Controller
To be honest, I was impressed by Reifenhäuser already during the hiring process. The subsidiary Reicofil did everything to give me an exact idea of the position offered and the company itself. Apart from the interviews, I was guided through the Technology Center and brought in contact with the previous job holder. Right from the beginning I was shown that Reicofil sets high value to long-term retention of employees.
Before my time at Reicofil, I was employed with a big trading enterprise. I am still excited about my change to a medium-sized company since the tasks here are varied: As a controller I am a part of the Reicofil management team and involved in the strategy process. My responsibilities also include special subjects such as the introduction of a profit-sharing system and the organisation of innovation workshops. My job requires creativity, ever new concepts and strategies. My area of work has been considerably extended in the course of time, and today, I am also responsible for controlling the Reifenhäuser Holding.
In my second year, I was admitted to Reicofil’s promotion program for young professionals. It started with jointly working out the way that suits me and the capabilities and skills I still had to improve to achieve my goals. In the following, we have been working consistently on enhancing my qualification and have also pursued unconventional ideas, e.g.: A project in a subsidiary, visits to specialist and management seminars and many other things. Presently, we are planning a stay abroad during which I will accompany the assembly of a Reicofil line in Malaysia. This will give me the opportunity to improve my technical know-how, to meet our customers and get a better understanding of their needs and also to learn more about team leading.
My conclusion: During my time at Reifenhäuser there has not been a single boring day, and I am looking forward to the next professional challenges!
